SO I imiedietly message my good friend and tell him to message the enemy child with this message as quick as possible, for he had ignored my account after I told him that I " Will report you to the EULA for going against your agreement ". " You now have 29 minutes left, you will pay " Wes the Wonder " or your account will be banned for a minimum of 2 weeks. You have your warning "

NOW he messaged me and it was time to do business. I was jumping, but the job was not done yet. We met at thirsty river in a district of 1 and he started the trade. But that scammer would just risk it all to scam me some more. I only Saw 500 in the trade. Imidietly I told him to pay me my full money NOW. But he only stood there and kept telling me to accept. Or he would leave and he wouldent care of being banned

SO I was so eager to be thankful and take my small amount that was shown before me. However, I wanted that 4607 of mine back, bad... So I told my friend to lay this riskful final punch on him.

" This is the EULA, you now have 19 minutes to pay " Wes the Wonder " his full amount of 4607 or your account will be banned. Thank you "

IMIEDIETLY he starts threatning me! Telling me to accept or he would hire a hitman to blow my brains out! But I laugh knowing this was impossible and tell him one last time to give me my full price or he could get banned for months for all I could care.

And thank god, he gave in and gave me my full 4607 amount of gold. Well I wanted to yell back to him " THE SCAMMER HAS BEEN SCAMMED B! " BUT my friend suggested that he should just tell Hammer:

" This is the EULA, your gold payment has been met, thank you. If this is ever reported again your account will be banned permanatly. "

So I did lie but I got my money back and HOPEFULLY he learned his lesson.

Ok so, we're all doing fine on the gates of Kryta, everything is nice and peachy. Everyone's stats are fine, no one is complaining. This warrior, decides to go AFK next to a group of the Undead. We run back so we don't get hit by the aggro. So, he dies. I bring him back with vengeance, just for a few laughs. THEN I figure he probably saw me killing him on purpose. So, he starts spamming me, he spams the whole team calling them noobs, idiots, morons, ect. saying "OMG Y DID U GIMME ALL THIS DP WTF IS WRONG WITH U WORST TEAM EVAR!!" ( Exact words said by the way )

I said for him to look at his death penalty. Then he flips out with the 15% Dp which was entirely HIS fault for going AFK infront of a massive patrol group.
We just shutup about it, until we reach the swamps with the poison effect. He decides AGAIN to go AFK in the middle of the swamp, being killed by the poison. He comes back, yells "OMFG WHY DID I DIE AGAIN!! WORST HEALER EVERR!!!!11" Everyone starts yelling at him to shutup. He left right before we killed the last Undead group to Enter LA.

For three weeks, he harrassed my guild members and my guild leader, he also harrassed the rest of the group that was with me on the mission. A few days ago I saw him standing infront of my monk trying to attempt a hug... >.> I'm officially scared to even get on. Worst of all, I send screenshots, and emails to Anet. I get only those stupid replies that you see for every email you send.
Even on ignore, he manages to find me, and my guildies which have also put him on ignore and such.. Haha.. theres my life for you.. ._. .. Yay for international districts..

This guy wasn't that big of a jerk but...anyways...
This happened to me a long time ago...I was using my female ranger in the Druid's Armor that is unfortunately, revealing, and just arrived in Droknar's. This guy suddenly PMs me and says, "Hey baby, wanna have a good time?" I just ignore it and walking around. Then I see the guy run up to me. So, naturally, I run away and, surprise, he follows me. I PM him and ask him to stop following me but I get no reply. I run through a massive crowd and apparently lose him. But soon enough he comes running at me. Eventually he stops and just stands still. At least he wasn't that persistent. I read the other stories where girl characters are harrassed. I find it sad that people try to get dates/cyber on a RPG game.

I have a small-scale antidote to small-scale jerks.

When I negotiate about a trade without somebody, or otherwise chat with them, it's all too common that they get a bit abusive. Nothing major, but I've been called "scammer", "TUAT" (sic), and so on.

Then when they want something from me, like a price concession, or even the item at the previous point, I tell them no. I would have, but they were rude, so I won't.

Hopefully, this will be a lesson that slightly improves the world of future people that happen to deal with them ...

I felt bad, but I hoped that they all died painful, horrible deaths since the only monk left.

I would have stopped healing the jerks only briefly after they started to insult me. With a warning of course - you keep insulting, I stop healing. By the sounds of it, that would have caused things to escalate, and would have caused me to apologize to the rest and leave long before the poster actually did. But there is no excuse for insulting and mobbing others in a party. None what so ever. If someone actually does indeed play badly or stupidly, insults and name calling is not the way to go.

Regarding the various posts above about age: well, I am 51 and I am playing GW with my wife just about every night, enjoying it very much, and I have a good job that I go to during the daytime, Monday to Friday. I know for a fact that a lot of players of GW are over 30. What angers me is when players act in a non-friendly and inconsiderate manner when in a party, such as insulting others, going afk or leaving a mission suddenly (aside from an Err=7 disconnect), running when the rest of the party does not want to, etc. etc. I can imagine that a lot of this comes from very very young players, but I am also sure that much of this kind of behavior can be seen with older players as well.

Heh you kiddin' me? I'm 19 and I'm always frustrated at people my age and younger who act so damned immature in game. I can only imagine what they're like in real life... it baffles me to think how these children (and indeed they are) came to be. In the debate of nature versus nurture these examples only help to buff the side of nature.

Wow, talk about a retarded person. Personally I will never ask to be runned and if I do I pay after I'm there or forget about it. Then again I'm a tank so I can just sprint and use mending to get place to place.

Yes I use Mending on myself a good amount of times when im running, and griffon hunting, in no way does that make me a jerk. Im a tank, im not sposed to look after somebody else, thats the monks job ( or any other type of healing/protecting class ).

And if thats the biggest jerk you have ever seen ( a player that uses a skill on themselves ), then you must have never been scammed/swore at/left behind/ect ect ect.

Next time you run with somebody, simply tell them you will pay them halfway through the run. If they disagree, then you need to agree, and tell all the members inside that why cant they just pay him half way there ( If he REALLY can run half way, and you tend to pay him in the end, then there is nothing wrong ) and then just leave. Because I can not find a reason in my head why he would have a problem with it, he would even be sure that the people he was running would pay him or they would be left half way. And if some people dont pay, simply restart and kick them out.

Half in half deal is what gets people the most, they expect the guy to really wants the cash in the end, but he would be just thankful with 50% ( especially if theres alot going with him ).
